He's gotta have a a job, and he's gotta have a future...

Well, I got the first one covered. Today was day two of my office job. I avoided 28 years without working in an office, but my credit card balance is getting out of hand so drastic measures are needed! It's not all bad, at least there's a good view of the cathedral to quench my soul juice....At least no more telephone job. I survive the job by guess-work pretty much. www.flyingclassrooms.com and I go to visit my lovely wife who works around the corner at a old coffee house (the brittons arms) for my lunch hour. Ho-hum, that's all very nice but the job is kind of stressful for us gen-xers. Not to say confusing. At least I come home and listen to Anne Waldman poems before I collapse to remind me of the real world.

We got out of summer-holiday hell in England by escaping to Germany for a couple of weeks. It's all so blurry again, walking Henry dog pass glorious green fields and farmer cottages, going swimming in lakes, various parties and trips to coffee shops....It was, as expected, peaceful mixed with full-on fun.

Reading - Plan B magazines, Fontaine(only because of Tim K's song) effi briest, the new york 1960s poetry scene book, and St. Augustine "confessions of a sinner"
Music(last 2 days) - sonic youth nyc, hefner EP, bright eyes box-set, sleater kinney 1 beat, lou barlow things, karate pockets...

things keep happening.
